BVM (USN) OBSERVES NO TOBACCO DAY « 31/May/2022

On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day being observed across the world on 31st May, with an aim of making students aware of the physical and environmental harm caused by tobacco use, Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (Udham Singh Nagar) organised various activities today. BVMites (Class XI & XII) explained the dangerous effects of tobacco products and ways to quit this deadly habit through posters, fliers and brochures. Through a sensitive dance drama, everyone was inspired to stay away from this addiction of smoking. BVM alumnus,  Dr. Himanshu Jia (JMC Civil Hospital, Ahemdabad) poignantly awared the students of class X to XII that a healthy lifestyle is the only way to prevent a deadly disease like cancer caused by tobacco consumption.  Principal Mrs. Ranju Mangal emphasized the need to pay attention to the negative effects of tobacco on health and appealed everyone to stay away from its consumption, considering its harm.
